The Art Of The Samurai Promises to Reduce Stress, Teach Life Saving Self-Defense
Skills, and Give an Ultimate Mind / Body Workout

Jujutsu, the martial art of the samurai warriors of Japan promises to give
practitioners the ultimate mind / body workout. - The summary should arouse
curiosity in the reader to read the rest of your press release. It is very
important to make it interesting and not dull.

Westwood, Massachusetts

With its roots with the feudal warriors of Japan, jujutsu (pronounced joo-jit-soo)
is a martial art that has very real modern applications. Besides life-saving self
defense skills, jujutsu is also complete mind / body workout. Practitioners enjoy a
fun workout that increases mental focus, builds self-confidence, reduces stress, and
increases fitness.

The philosophy of jujutsu is to use an opponent\'s energy against them, relying less
on direct conflict. The philosophy of redirecting conflict can have a positive
effect on practitioners from the classroom to the boardroom.

The New England Sports Academy in Westwood has recently added jujutsu classes for
both adults and kids. The classes are taught by renowned martial arts instructor
John Moore, sensei. Adults classes (for anyone age 15+) are held on Tuesdays from 7
pm - 8 pm. Kid\'s classes (for kids 7-14) are held on Thursdays from 4 pm - 5 pm.
Jujutsu classes are free during March so everyone may try them out.

Moore sensei (teacher) has over 20 years of training in the martial arts including
Karate, Arnis, Pencak Silat, and Jujutsu. He holds a 3rd degree black belt in
Ketsugo Jujutsu under Peter Freedman sensei. He has conducted self defense training
for over a dozen companies and organizations throughout New England. He has also
helped train local, state, and federal law enforcement officers including federal
air marshals and the US Department of Defense.

Moore\'s students find his classes and his teaching style enjoyable. According to
Irusha Peiris, "John is definitely one of the best teachers I have ever had. Not
only is he able to break down a complex martial art into simple concepts but his
classes are taught with safety as the top priority. John teaches martial arts in an
effective and practical manner."

Violent crime is on the rise in many areas of Massachusetts, studying a self-defense
oriented art like jujutsu can help students avoid becoming victims. According to
Moore "Fighting is always a last resort and the warrior is always last to pick up
the sword. The awareness and confidence we instill in students has been shown to
help them avoid trouble before self-defense is necessary. Jujutsu students learn to
respect and protect their bodies and their minds."

The New England Sports Academy is a 40,000 square foot multi-sport facility at 345
University Avenue in Westwood, MA.
